URC Hong Kong Bags Two ParknShop Super Brands Awards

Jack ‘N Jill snacks helped HK supermarket chain attain significant growth in 2022  

Universal Robina Corporation's Hong Kong subsidiary bagged two awards at the ParknShop Super Brands Awards, the annual event that honors the achievements of the leading supermarket chain’s partner brands.

URC Hong Kong won the Outstanding Advancement Brand Award for the Jack ‘n Jill-branded potato chips, Roller Coaster potato rings, and Beef Crunchies savory snack products that helped ParknShop chalk up 32% business growth in 2022. The URC subsidiary also received the Exclusive Product Collaboration Award for its close coordination with ParknShop since 2020 to develop custom-made potato chip flavors, including Tom Yum and Black Truffle, under the Jack ‘n Jill brand.

URC started its operations in Hong Kong in 1971 with the introduction of Jack ‘n Jill Potato Chips.
