In this light, it organizes the Vitasoy Global Excellence Awards, an annual event that recognizes outstanding teams and individuals from across Vitasoy’s international operations. All awardees were selected through stringent criteria including significant contribution to business outcomes, championing its purpose and values, and enhancing organization capability.
Demonstrating the excellence of its Philippine operations, Vitasoy-URC won two of the four global awards, bagging the sole team award and an individual award in the Frontline and Supervisory category.
The Vitasoy-URC team won the Global Excellence Team Award for “Best Year Ever”, highlighting Vitasoy Philippine team’s achievements in delivering exemplary growth, delivering customer satisfaction via increased brand preference, and offering product innovations to address the ever-changing needs of consumers.

The individual award in the Frontline and Supervisory category was deservedly earned by Jonathan F. Calsa, Production Supervisor and Safety Officer for Vitasoy-URC. The award recognizes his contributions toward plant safety and health with the successful execution of the Behavior Based Safety Program, successfully enrolling material parts in SAP for procurement, and handling the Vitasoy-Universal Robina (VUR) line controllership with minimal cycle count variances. Calsa also helped his teammates advance their careers and consistently ensured intellectual property protection for all materials.
The recognitions received by Vitasoy-URC at the global event are meaningful validations of the organization’s unwavering dedication to delighting everyone with good food choices while also enhancing the lives and opportunities of its people and the communities around it.
